Elite Contracting Group is seeking Electronic Security Technicians to join our team based out of our Virginia Beach, VA location

Responsibilities :

• Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards with a focus on
• quality customer service
• Install cabling and card readers, mount equipment, door contact and strikes,
• intrusion detection, CCTV equipment, and access control systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, wiring diagrams, and other
• specifications
• Manage and maintain proper material inventory
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• Demonstrated mechanical ability
• Experience in the electronics field, with commercial access control and CCTV
• Fiber and conduit installation experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements :

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and crawl
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
• Must be able to lift and move items over 50 pounds
• Must be able to climb ladders and elevate in lifts and bucket trucks
• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring
• Must be able to work in various conditions, including but not limited to extreme
• heat and cold

Additional Requirements :

• Must be able to work Monday Friday 7 : 00AM 5 : 00PM; additional work,
• including on-call, may be required
• Must possess and maintain a satisfactory background record
• Must be willing to travel
• Must provide own basic hand tools
